Heritage Day

October 28 @ 10:40 am - 2:00 pm

In 2026, Sorell School celebrates its 205th anniversary and is recognised as the oldest school in Australia still operating on its original site. Each year, our school community comes together to celebrate this significant milestone and our rich school history.

All students are encouraged to dress old-fashioned clothing for the day. Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will participate in a range of games with their buddy classes and will also perform a bush dance.

We are also seeking donations to support our class stalls. Contributions of suitable items are greatly appreciated and may be sent to school with your child or delivered to the front office.

We would be grateful if each family could contribute an item or two to help make our class stalls a success. Alternatively, a gold coin donation to assist with the purchase of stall items would be greatly appreciated.
