Sorell School is dedicated to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences. Catering to students from Kindergarten through Year 12, the school offers a diverse range of curriculum opportunities.
Acknowledgement of Country
Sorell School acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the moomairemener people of the paredarerme, on which our school operates and we pay our respect to all Elders past, present and future for they hold the memories, traditions, the culture and the hopes of Aboriginal Australia. We extend this respect to all First Nations students and families. We acknowledge that this land was never ceded and under the buildings and asphalt, this land is, and always will be, traditional Aboriginal land.
Our school is greatly enriched by our community of First Nations people. As we share our own knowledge, teaching and learning practices within this school, we also pay respect and reverence to the deep knowledge embedded forever within the Aboriginal Custodianship of Country.
